Louisiana is safe again with the Legislature out of
session. For what bills made it through the legislative process, it’s all up to
the governor now.
Two bad bills disappeared, one new one appeared.
HB 514 was amended into a different form to get rid of a permanent tax increase.
HB 292 paired with other bills becomes a tax swap. HB 183 created a new
spending commitment into perpetuity.
